This policy explains what information the Classic Retro Arcade mobile application
("the app") handles, why, and what choices you have. By installing and using the app
you agree to this policy. If you do not agree, please uninstall the app.
The app is intended for a general audience. It is not directed at
children and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
2. Information we do NOT collect
The app has no sign-in, no user accounts and no user profiles. We do not ask for,
and do not collect:
your name, date of birth or gender;
your email address, phone number or postal address;
your contacts, photos, microphone or camera data;
precise location (GPS);
payment or financial information.
3. Information that is collected
Advertising identifier. The app shows advertising. Third-party
advertising partners may access your device's resettable Advertising ID in order to
select and measure ads and to limit how often the same ad is shown.
Technical and usage data. Anonymous, aggregated information such
as app version, device model, operating system version, coarse country, screen
events (for example: which game was opened, whether a level was completed) and crash
diagnostics. This data is used only to keep the app working and to decide which
features to improve.
Network requests. Game content is downloaded on demand from our
content servers. Those requests carry your IP address, as any internet request does;
it is used to deliver the file and for basic abuse protection, and is not used to
build a profile of you.
None of the above is linked to a real-world identity, because the app never learns
one.
4. Data stored on your device
Game progress, saved states, settings, high scores and in-game currency are stored
locally on your device only. They are not uploaded to us. Uninstalling
the app deletes them permanently.
5. Third parties
The app uses third-party advertising and analytics partners to display ads and to
understand anonymous usage. These partners process data under their own privacy
policies and may use the Advertising ID as described above. We do not sell your data,
and we do not share personal information with them, because we do not hold any.
6. Your choices
Reset or delete your Advertising ID. On Android, open
Settings → Privacy → Ads and choose to reset the advertising ID or
to delete it. Deleting it stops personalised advertising.
Delete your data. All data the app keeps about you lives on your
device. Uninstall the app, or use
Settings → Apps → Classic Retro Arcade → Storage → Clear data,
and it is gone.
Ask us. You can write to the address below with any request
about data access or deletion and we will answer within 30 days.
7. Security
Content is delivered over encrypted HTTPS connections. Since the app stores no
personal data on our side, there is no personal database to breach. We still take
reasonable measures to protect the systems that deliver the app's content.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of
this page always shows the current version. Material changes will be reflected here
before they take effect.
